Scout Resort in Korzkiew consists of two buildings – one with 29 beds and a day room, while the second with a kitchen, dining room and room service. In addition, we have a five wooden houses for 10 people each.

Magical Krakow

There is no doubt that Krakow is one of the most important cultural centers of our country. Evidenced by the fact that up to the end of the eighteenth century it was the rightful capital of Poland. According to the official rankings, Krakow is in the forefront of the most attractive cities in Europe.

The picturesque surroundings

Scout Resort in Korzkiew is located on the south-eastern end of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland. Located 15 km north-west of Krakow, is a good starting point for the important points on the map of the Malopolska Region.

The Korzkiew Resort is located 15 km to the north-west from Cracow, in a vicinity of Ojcowski National Park.
The resort is located in two manor buildings and five cottages. It abuts directly with a beautiful old park, in which you can see old trees, already recognized as the monuments of nature. On the hill, above the resort, the well preserved ruins of the 14th century castle stand. The castle is under reconstruction. The great location of Korzkiew allows to observe a wonderful world of nature, just in the closest neighbourhood, above all, the breathtaking scenery of jurassic system, with a land of deep, forested valleys with calcium rocks of the most fantastic shape.
The resort is a perfect base for one of the most beautiful places in Poland- The Kraków-Częstochowa Jura. The real pearl of this land is the Ojcowski National Park, with Prądnik Valley, the great castle in Pieskowa Skała, caves: Ciemna and Łokietko s, and rare plant species.

Great location

The Scout Resort in Korzkiew is located at the south-eastern end of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. As placed 15 km to northern-west of Cracow, it is an ideal base for important points on the map of małopolska region. The resort stands in an area of Korzkiew Culture Park, which also reaches to the castle hill, Korzkiew's park and whole village and neighbourhood. On the hill, just by the resort, the Korzkiew's castle stands- knight's stronghold from the 14th century. The area, with all of it's charm, invites the lovers of walking and cycling trips, people who like to spend their time in an active way and in silence, far from the big city noise.

Apparently, the Scouts are talkers a little. No wonder- everyday they have so many new experiences, and they would like to tell everyone about their adventures. Our resort is wide open for the Scouts from all around the world! The time of day and year doesn't matter- we will always welcome you. The History

The history of Korzkiew village is strongly bonded with the history of Korzkiew's castle. Probably, the village was created as an ancillary settlement. In the 19th century Korzkiew was inhabitated mainlyby grooms courtiers, several peasents and bailiffs. The inn with brewery was also opened. In 1352 John the coat of arms Syrokomla bought the Korzkiew's hill, where he built a castle. It served as defensive and residential house of Zaklik family up to the second half of the 15th century. The next owners were: Szczepan Świętopełk from Irządz, merchant Piotr Krupka, the Zborowski and Ługowski family. In 1623 Aleksander Ługowski funded the construction of a baroque church of st. John the Baptist, which stands to these days. It was built in a place of the old wooden church, constructed in the second half of the 14th century.
